I have an iPad Air and about to purchase the Nexus 8 when it is released. However I will always read books on my Kindle PW1.

To me, a tablet screen for reading just doesn't compare to an ereader like the Kindle for long periods of reading. After all that is the whole purpose for developing an ereader in the first place!

For short PDFs and graphic novels, I use my tablet. But for larger layout dependant and image heavy books (e.g. textbooks and reference guides) I would just buy a paper copy.
