May 29 email from Kobo
In case anybody hasn't received it yet, here's a copy/paste. Looks like good news re: some of the books that didn't transfer.
Dear Kobo Reader:
I have some good news: we've added thousands of new titles to the Kobo catalogue, including some books previously available only in the Sony Reader Store.
Some titles from the Reader Store might not have transferred to Kobo with the rest of your books. Now that many of them are available from Kobo, we've automatically transferred them to you – just sync your Library to see if you have any newly added reads. And very soon, you'll also be able to shop for new titles from Kobo directly from your T1, T2 or T3 Wi-Fi Reader from Sony.
We had hoped to make the Kobo Store available on these Wi-Fi Readers in May, but we need a little extra time to give you the best possible shopping experience. It's important to us that your experience with us is nothing short of world class, and we look forward to you enjoying Kobo on your device in June.
Until then, you can purchase books directly on kobo.com, and then sync your Reader to enjoy your next great read. Plus, with the free Kobo app for tablets and smartphones, you can also download, store, and read eBooks from Kobo anytime, anyplace.
I'm thrilled you've joined the Kobo community, and if you have any questions about this message, please feel free to contact me directly. We sincerely appreciate your business and your feedback.
Thank you,
Alan MacNevin
