Dear 'friends':
It was a bit lonely at first, hurtling through the solar system, but when I got to Jupiter I met a new friend. HAL and I have been singing all day long, and we plan to play computer chess later tonight.
This transmission should reach the Chicken thread in around 3 days I think.
P.S. Send DVD's please! I'm stuck in orbit around Jupiter, captured by its gravitational field, with plenty of time on my feathers.
