Sure, but shouldn't that be something done in the church or in the home?? What exactly does your savior have to do with a jolly old fat man in a red suit and spending a ton of money in the stores??

If you can explain a valid faith based connection between the two ... Jesus Christ and rampant commercialism .... then I'm willing to listen. Otherwise, I'd like to see the holiday become about something other than the number of shopping days left before the 25th of December. Of course, I don't celebrate the thing in any event. I'm not a Christian ... although I suspect some of my cats may be. I haven't asked. It's not something we discuss.
