The PW2 is good but looking at the iPad Retina mini is just so much easier on my eyes.
Probably the only thing, other than the price, is the screen in bright sunlight.

I have a mini and do prefer reading on it, but that doesn't help when I want to read on my deck in sunlight. I have a PW1 and I just think the screen technology with the back light makes the text fuzzy. If I had to do it all over again I would have kept my original Kindle.
