The ASUS Transformer tablets have a native keyboard dock that effectively turns them into a clamshell laptop. That might be worth a look? The beauty of these is that both the keyboard base and the tablet itself have separate batteries. When you connect the tablet to the base, it charges the tablet from the other battery. Very nifty. Also very expensive.
I've also got a bluetooth keyboard for the Nexus 7, which works really well. BUT, it's very small and has an odd, non-standard layout. One or two keys are strange sizes and they are small, which makes typing quickly very hard to do. The other problem I found with this was that there's no UK '£' sign and no key combination can produce it. So, it's ok for the odd quick email, but that's about it.
