I've bought from Google and downloaded too, but I do worry about ADE 3.0 preventing me from reading on other devices at some time in the future. Google just needs to update their own app to be compatible. If I remember correctly the new drm is set on your first download - does downloading to your tablet count? Is 3.0 still coming?
This wouldn't be a problem if publishers did the smart thing and did away with drm as suggested in the Smashwords article by Mark Coker a few pages back.
