Just came in from cutting the grass with the riding mower. I got the grass in the enclosed area yesterday.

The operation went well, and Tuesday I'll get the stitches out. My face is almost back to what passes for normal for me, although there's still a slight swelling over the right eye—just enough to make me look a bit sneaky. At least I don't look as bad as I did the third day after the operation. I've gone from Jabba the Hutt to Charlie Chan to that-guy-looks-like-he's-up-to-no-good all within the space of a few days.
So last night my wife was complaining that she couldn't pee and had pain on her right side. I knew she was serious when she asked ME to drive her to the hospital (the boss never lets me drive). We were there from about eleven something PM until after four in the morning. Turns out she has a 4.5 mm kidney stone. She was given some meds for pain and something to help relax her so she can urinate. My poor baby was throwing up into the same style hospital barf bags I was throwing up into 2 weeks earlier to the day. I told her she generated that kidney stone because of all the attention I was getting for my fractures. I wonder if when you reach a certain age hospitals start handing out perks like frequent flier miles? You know, like coupons good for 10% off your next visit to the ER or something? My wife said we're certainly getting our money's worth out of our medical insurance the last couple of weeks.
