You'll need to create a View for each VL, and apply manually when you switch VL's.
So a Fiction VL and a Fiction View, and FFDL VL and a FFDL View.
Unfortunately the View Manager PI hasn't updated to be VL aware, it is aware of Saved Searches which were the forerunner of VL's.
