Who's read Northworld (trilogy) ?

Especially the authors notes. Especially especially the last one.

Those who did, what were your reactions to it? For some reason, the whole book left me rather cold, but that last paragraph turned my stomach.

I'm not really sure why. I think I do understand the distinction between law and justice, and I might agree with that, but the implication I gather from that sentence I cannot agree with.
Not sure how to ask this, but the example didn't seem to be entirely fictitious?

Hopefully harmless notes: I don't think the BOOKS were bad. Quite good, if a bit pointless. And needlessly vulgar at times, IMO.
Though it's safe to say the last note ruined the experience for me.
