Charles Hamilton has apparently been in the Guiness Book of Records as the world's most prolific author. Also known as Frank Richards, Martin Clifford, and numerous other pen-names. He is estimated (according to Wikipedia) to have written about 100 million words, equivalent to about 1200 average length novels.
