Officially you are on the honor system to remove them.

The publisher is OK with no DRM, apparently they trust the readers. DRM hinders you reading the book freely, even within the context of library loans. (how to put ADE EPUBs on a Kindle?? Open EPUB allows that with library loans even without a Kindle Checkout option.) I assumed OverDrive doesn't care about DRM unless the publisher does.

So the question is, do Smashwords titles have DRM in OverDrive? I guess we will just have to wait and see....
