If you leave the wireless 3G on this can happen. Try to turn this off as much as possible. Also depends how much you are using just reading with it as well (# of page turns).

Your dxg batteries may not have used much and may need a few cycles to come back. Try leaving it on charge (with ~1amp ac/usb wall adapter) for about 24 hours. After this, unplug it, start it up and do a restart (not factory reset btw). I've found that this then resets the battery monitor so it does not read low as quickly.

Try this for the next 4-5 cycles and see if things improve. Also, try not to allow your dxg to get so low that it reports that it needs charging or you will ultimately damage the battery. Try to get into the habit of recharging it when the monitor says it is ~1/4 to 1/3 full.

My dxg with ~1 hour per day usage and pretty small amounts of 3g wireless needs to be recharged ~ every 7-10 days.
