Sorry I have to laugh. I have not even turned on my A/C yet. I only run it from June 1st - Sept 15th and if the days are nice and cool I turn the a/c and open the windows. I know the humidity in Kentucky did not seem much different than in Texas. never been to NC so I don't know if it is different
