Interesting. I am willing to make a guess that they base a huge part of their ratings on cross-device syncing, and ebook store size, at least as far as putting it "middle of the pack." Those features seem very important, to reviewers.

IMO the Glo is definitely not superior to the Aura or Aura HD. The Aura HD is super nice, with the large HD screen and interesting back ridges. It is a luxury device. The Aura is a super sweet little reader. I don't take the Aura HD out in my bag, due it's size. The Aura is perfect for taking out. (Of course so is the Glo, and the Mini). I feel the lighting is better on the Aura, than on the Glo, but the lighting on the Glo varies across devices (based on my control group of 2).
