I'm 9th on the list at my library, and five more have put holds after me. I don't know how many licenses they will have on release day, though. Pre-listings always show as one copy, but if there's demand they will buy more. I likely won't get to start it on release day, either way. Of course, with release day being the day after a US Holiday weekend, I probably won't have time to read anyway. :/
I had it pre-ordered, but that was before I knew about my trip to Florida, then friends from out of the country coming in, and other unanticipated things on the list of "places my money flies off to". So I will read it from the library and buy it later, because I must have a complete collection.
Someday I plan to buy the whole series in the Roc Hardcover editions. Right now I only have Ghost Story in hardcover.
