Well, I'm a Florida retiree and I find that people of a certain age who read a lot now have always done so. It's just that there is a large population of readers in Florida.

When you say "oldsters", how old do you mean? Many of the older baby boomers(me) and those 10 years ahead of them have been dealing with tech throughout most(or at least a good portion) of their professional lives and retirement. The majority of oldsters who would really have issues adapting are the remaining Greatest Generation members, like my 93 year old father, with some degree of Alzheimer's or other health issues. When my mother died four years ago at age 87, she was still using her pc for shopping, on-line banking, email, scanning photo albums, word processing,etc.,etc.
