Thanks for the heads up on the Shure's. I'm looking more for "ability to enjoy movies on a plane" than audiophile quality. As such, you may be saving me a good amount of money with the Shure SE215 recommendation. Of particular winning note...to me...are those that said they were good for comfort when laying on your side on a pillow.

It would be very nice to get a set of headphones to fall asleep with.

This line also has removable cables which is a nice plus. From the reviews, the 215's are a nice price/performance bargain. The 315's are better but a lot more. Both are much cheaper than the Bose I was considering.

And I was wrong, Amazon does indeed discount the Bose a little bit.
