Round-tripping documents is vital for mobile Office apps. If you can't reliably move between desktop and mobile it takes out a lot of value.

Have you looked at Softmaker Office?
It's worked well for me since the HPC Pro days. So far, I haven't had any issues with the Android version.

The i3 SP3 looks real juicy as a reading device... I'll be keeping an eye out for when the refurbs start popping up.
