We moved 10 years ago from Chesapeake VA to central PA (near Altoona) with 5 birds, a lizard, some fish, a dog, and 3 little kids, 3 vehicles, AND 3 moving trucks. It was a complete nightmare. I swear I will never move that far again!

It was 11 years ago when I moved from San Antonio, TX to Northern NJ - I agree - never again! Then we got in live in a corporate stay hotel with 2 cats and no oven for 3 1/2 months while we tried to close on the house we live in now. We signed the contract on our 2nd day in NJ. It really took that long to close. There are days I wish we'd kept walking away from this house - esp. when the sewer backed up after 6 weeks in the house! and the wall oven caught fire!! and the a/c compressor blew! and the fireplace leaked water into living room when it rained hard! all this happened during the first year! Did I mention the house had passed the home inspection with flying colors. It is the oldest house I've ever lived in - built in 1960. Happy Reading! Joan
