Do you have the setting turned on to autosync on the pw?? I know mine is not as quick for the box to pop up on the pw as it is on my android or Fire but it does pop up after a minute or two. I usually open the book and walk away in order for it to have time to sync or as is my habit, I stop at chapter points so it is easier to quickly jump to where I left off on the Fire.
