My sister just got to work after standing in line a couple of hours to vote. Here's her take:

"I thought I was lucky to get a parkiing spot right in front of the school. But the end of the line was near the store at the fork in the road there at Fairfax and Owen Avenue. I'm not complaining. Everyone around me was fussing about the long line, the cold weather, wanting the lunchroom to provide food, etc. Come on people, at least we CAN vote and not risk losing our lives over it. Bring your own dang snacks."

Sounds like something I'd say, doesn't it?

BTW, to give a sense of scale, her polling place line was from front to back of a school, past a ball field, and another block to the store. I hope they are giving line cuts to elderly and handicapped!
