Pinpricks and the WHSmith returns policy

Today I went to WHSmith to look at the Kobo Aura HD. While browsing the other Kobo ereaders, I noticed that most of them had several pinpricks, including the Aura HD. Not a very good advert for the products! You think the sales staff would remove them from display. And this was at their flagship Oxford Street Plaza branch. A Kobo rep should probably visit them.

I'm thinking of getting the Aura HD so this is worrying.

My question to those who purchased from WHSmith, have any of you suffered from pinpricks? If so, how have WHSmith handled the issue? Who did you contact?
