Can't do it with the Windows 8 app. Like AnemicOak said; it just doesn't store its books in "files." They're records in an sqlite database ... like the Kindle Cloud Reader does for offline reading.

There simply are no ebook files to find unless you install the regular Kindle for PC program instead of the Win 8 app.
