Hi,

I am using calibre to generate a newspaper over night and automatically mail it to my kindle email address. On my previous kindle keyboard I would just leave the kindle in Wifi mode over night. When I grabbed the kindle in the morning the newspaper was automatically loaded onto the kindle. Perfect!

This does not work with my paperwhite2. When I leave the device in Wifi mode overnight it does not automatically download the newspaper when it's just turned off (cover closed). I have to activate the device by opening the cover to trigger the download.

Is there any way to get the paperwhite2 to download the newspaper automatically without manually turning it on?
