Thanks so much for offering to work on the Pater, and for understanding the meaning of my request on a thread that is dedicated to the same purpose as my post. Sometimes there can be a disconnect between British and American/Canadian ideas of etiquette in which both sides mean well. The above interchange might have been an example of that.
We've been seeing grateful posts by academics on your various ebook creation threads, which is hardly an accident. Your work has proved to be not only satisfying for casual readers but a life-saver for students and teachers.
My point was that Pater is a very significant critic of the Victorian period, that beautiful epub editions of his work seem not to exist, and that creating them would be helpful not only for me but perhaps for others as well.
