Even though I have 10,000 books on my device when I connect wirelessly to calibre as a device via the Calibre Companion app it only takes about 2-3 minutes to connect and update all the metadata of the books on my device.
Ohh, thank you - that did the trick! Knew there had to be a way. Appreciate it so much - also appreciate everyone else who offered help.
