While I love my Kindle, I have a friend with a Mac who is considering the purchase of an ebook reader.

What problems might she have with conversion software like Mobi2mobi, Kindlefix and Mobidedrm operating in her Mac environment. Are there any other "gotchas" that might influence her decision to purchase the Sony 505 vs the Kindle?

Would appreciate recommendations discussing both devices with a Mac environment.
