I'm afraid of it, though. Not so much that they won't honor it when it finally publishes in 3+ months (in which case I haven't really lost anything anyway), but rather that they will, but it won't be downloadable as an epub. So much of the kobo stuff I've been interested in lately hasn't been, which means nothing but a lost sale.

Agreed about kepubs. Though, for this amount of money I think it's worth a risk. But my credit card has expiry date before August, so I can't try my luck.
I frankly think they'll reimburse all money for low price preorders, but let's see.
ETA: I did buy Karl Ove Knausgaard's Boyhood Island, the third book of My Struggle for similar amount
