Using calibre 1.35, and editing a large block of text (surrounded by just 1 single tag) into smaller chunks, the insertion of a new tag pair caused a memory failure. Calibre did not crash and I could continue. I had 15 page TABS open. I did an intermediate save. However, subsequent insertion of a next tag pair caused the same error again and again.

Perhaps a side-effect of Bug #1314339?
