The new GlowLight has the new 1024x758 screen as opposed to the 800x600 of the original, and the software has been tweaked, but overall, it's very similar, same internals (processor, memory, battery, ...). Also worth of note is that the new GlowLight does not have buttons or SD card slot.
In my opinion, the new GlowLight is a poor upgrade (and in some aspects, a downgrade) from the original Glowlight, there are better options out there, so I would not recommend it.
