I have it as "puts the books on the reader, but not on the shelves(into the collections), until after a reconnect" on my Glo with my setup cribbed from PeterT's sticky.

I always check after the initial transfer and processing, and it always takes a reconnect. I have been doing so because I keep reading that it does it on the first pass, so I've been assuming a process change in Calibre, but I've yet to see it... OTOH, I may be a poor observer for this one as in my mind it's all one process that occurs after the initial transfer and I may have failed to check collections that are both purely series based or purely shelf based.

I can make the statement that I have yet to see any books on the shelves I've checked until after the second pass. But, I may have failed to check shelf column based collections.

And no, I'm not going to wipe my Glo and do it again so I can observe the process again... unless I have to. With in excess of 350 titles side loaded I can't put up with how long it takes with the current firmwares unless I must. Between a slow USB one transfer from my ancient X41 and the processing, it even tests my limits.
