Ok, so here's the final report on the knee. Knot only is there a hole in the bone underneath the lower apparatus, it looks like, according to the bone scan, that the glue has failed. Even though I'm not having problems with the upper apparatus, because the replacement will be substantially different both have to be replaced :/. I had put off some seriously needed dental work after the initial surgery because you have to for two years, then I had the cancer issue with a family member so that was another year. I MUST get that done now, it can't wait another two years. That is being accelerated. I'm looking at surgery mid to late June I guess. I've been to an attorney, there is definitely a case. Apparently we need to let the insurance company initiate a lot of it because of course they're not going tio be very happy shelling out that much more money. What's really infuriating to me, aside from the incompetence/errors is that the surgeon continuously treated me like someone who was only after narcotics, to the point he had referred me to a rehab clinic. He never once went after the source of the pain that both he and his nurse insisted simply could not exist after so many weeks post op. There was only ever this level of arrogance that he was perfect and nothing could possibly be wrong
