Update...
Something happened to my kobo today. I was trying to open the sideloaded kepub I was reading, and it was taking forever to load. After a minute or two, the book opened to the page I was at, but, the controls got messed up. When I was swiping to go back a page, it turned a page forward, and when I swiped forward, it acted as if I was pressing on the middle. I did a hard reset then tried to open other books. They still took forever to load but fortunately, the weird touch thingy didn't happen anymore.
So anyway, I just removed the full screen line in the config and I'll monitor it for now.
Also, the percentage seems to have disappeared on the sleep screen...
and upon checking, the options disappeared...
anybody know how to fix this?
