It is hardly unusual for people to live in the US.
I should think that makes it well worth the bother of making the distinction -- rather than implying that there is nowhere no matter how "obscure" that provides Kindle loans.
Note that no one claimed Kindle loans are offered
everywhere.
More information allows for making better choices, and if we don't want that why are any of us saying anything to begin with?
