Color me confused. I came across a book in the subscription area that was 13 pages. I assume that meant short story/novella. But I think it was just a sample of the full book. Now why anyone would want to bother putting samples in there is beyond me. There's something I am not understanding. And I can't find where it would have told me either. It does say something about Read it first at the top, so maybe it isn't even published yet (Publisher is macmillan).

Don't know if this link will work.

Anyway, I guess I'll be warned not to start anything short unless I know for sure it is a short story and not a sample. I can read samples anywhere so why would I waste time doing it this way?

Bother.
