Whenever you install something you are unsure of you should do it in a protected sandbox. I use Toolwiz Time Freeze, mainly because it's free and it works.

When you activate your sandbox, everything done to your computer is forgotten as soon as you reboot. I use it for anything I download from sites like Giveaway of the Day, not only because of Malware, but because most of the stuff turns out to be useless and I don't want to have to worry about tracking down all the changes and crap installed to my system. Instead I just reboot and *poof* the software was never even there.
