Indeed. Reading the classics does strange things to you as well. If somebody asks you to tell something about yourself, you state:
"I have a disproportionately contemplative attitude towards life, striving to maintain an equilibrium between work, private life, and hobbies, by reading books and disengaging myself from the socio-economic pressures all individuals are experiencing in current day-to-day dealings."
