my mistake - i thought "+" meant "pro"
in fact- re checking the amazon app store.
i see moon+ reader - free - compatible with my kindle
then moon+ reader pro £3 - NOT compatible.
the latter seems to be corporate
mis-speak ( what we call a
lie in plain English )- if the free version works on a given tablet then surely the pro version would also work unless amazon have deliberately blocked it in their android code - they just don't want the competition, so they are blocking the sales & download ?
amazon store does not give a link for contacting developer ( unlike google store) . I may try to find one & the developer's take on this
PS I begin playing with bluestacks earlier in the week - but I could not figure out how to link bluestacks to an amazon app storeaccount ?
