Still, focusing on the least practical or interesting aspect of the S5 is only informative to a point: The one at which it's established that fingerprint scanning is a lovely idea which is only secure in SF novels (for the moment).

Samsung has been larding their devices with gimmicks of late, but said gimmicks only impede basic functionality (and in many cases siphon battery life) if you enable them.

Love the size and specs of the S5. Not a fan of the new lockdown on SIM cards and factory default restores, though (also a problem with the Note III and post-4.3 S4).
