A better way would be to open Calibre, use it to open Notepad ++. Clean Xhtml or html files with Notepad ++. Then go to Sigil to set up the epub and configure css file. Use Gimp 2 for resizing the cover you need in the epub. Take the finished epub into Adobe Digital or other epub readers and make needed changes using either Sigil or Edit Book.

Upload the epub into Kindle Previewer or Kindlegen. Split the mobi files, use MobiPocket Reader or Kindle to see what it looks like and make needed changes in Edit Book. I would also like to use Calibre Viewer and read the mobi from it.

I have a lot of bad epub files taken from Pdf's and they need a lot of cleaning. It would help if I could keep the finished epub or mobi files inside Calibre . This would let me switch from reading the epub or mobi files in Calibre Viewer, Kindle or Adobe Digital and Azardi.

The only way I can think of to do this would be to upload the epub and mobi files and rename them to *****_v1, v2, or v3 and so on.

When I want to read the epub or mobi files, I would like to be able to switch from v1 or v2, click on the needed plugin and go right to the book. This would also let me get rid of all those shortcuts scattered about the desktop and keep Notepad ++ inside the program files and just use Calibre and go to the needed plugin when needed.
