Was the error raised by the installer or calibre, and to which .dll file did it refer, calibre installs 188 dll's.

Perhaps you could post the full text of the error message (calibre messages have a copy to clipboard button) or a screen shot (see https://www.mobileread.com/forums/faq...b3_attachments )
