Honigfisch, you describe yourself as "just a normal student", but based on what you posted, I vehemently hope that's untrue. Otherwise, what's the educational system coming to?

Today's Friday. You still have this weekend to do your work.

I recommend that you do finish the book you will present - or switch gears and present a book that:
1- YOU HAVE ACTUALLY READ and
2- If you need further assistance to supplement your own understanding of the work you read, has been analyzed and summarized by a reputable source that is accessible, free-of-charge, online or in materials you can find by visiting a library or bookstore. These search results link to some online book summary/study guides. I can personally vouch for Sparknotes and CliffsNotes, which are well-written, informative, and available free-of-charge online, as well as in print versions you can read in the bookstore or library. Some similar resources listed in Wikipedia (which I can't vouch for, because I've never used them) include:
60second Recap
Coles Notes
eNotes
FlashNotes
York Notes

Additionally, Wikipedia (though not always the most reliable source) itself sometimes includes book summaries and analyses. It took me all of two seconds to discover this Wikipedia page - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candy:..._and_Addiction - which briefly summarizes the book's background, plot, and themes as well as provides links to more in-depth reviews and analyses.

Good luck on your presentation and exam.
First of all you should calm down - i didn't say that i am not going to read the book (by the way i have to read approximately 90 pages) - the problem is that my topic is drug addiction (have to read 3 books - i read 2 of them already) and there isn't anything on the internet except on bookrags.com

Secondly: I don't have to explain to you which kind of student i am and you don't need to provoke me by saying: "I hope this is vehemently untrue". I think you also searched sources on the internet for a presentation and i don't think that this is wrong if you are not copying everything word for word but rather read it and try to add something to your work which you missed to jot down

But now back to the topic:
I am writing the whole summaries at my own and all the rest too.
The reason why i need it is to compare it because in this way i feel more secure and i can add things which I forgot to write - you can believe me or not that i am just using it to compare
In addition to that, my mothertongue is not english and i am not living in the UK or US which is way more difficult to write 10-20 pages about a topic in english
Thats why i need it

However, thank you for replying and offering me some other sites
My only problem is that i am not able to pay 20$ for a online website which i will never use again in my life and to pay 20$ for some summaries while the book itself costs approximately 10 euros. If it would be 3-4 euros fine but 20 $ is too much
Furthermore this isn't just a presentation - this is a big oral exam where my teacher is going to ask me about the topic and the books

All i asked was a favor of somebody who has got an account. It won't hurt anybody to do somebody else a favor. Humanity died...

Best regards
