Yeah it links to your existing account. It gets its own send to kindle email address and shows up in your kindle devices as ___'s Android Device. Which for me was a bit confusing as my Amazon Kindle app was already there as ___'s Android, so I renamed the Samsung one to ___'s Samsung. I only got this for the free book a month anyway, as I'm no longer reading on my phone.

Also in the process of downloading this I found out Samsung has an ebook store, which was news to me.
