Unfortunately, I am having problems again with the "Exposed" 10 book set I just bought. I cannot figure out a way to split this. I try using it after I extracted the epub and I have nothing but one file listed. Nothing to mark each book and create new book.
I think I really am going to stop buying boxed set. They aren't worth my frustration anymore.

If epub to epub at least split the files, you should be able to hover over each section to "see" how that section starts... of course, if the breaks in the original file make no sense, then that might not work either.
When I've had issues, I've had better luck when I convert the AZW3 file to epub instead of unpacking it. Maybe something to do with the kindle programming that goes away when you unpack the epub. If you convert the kindle file to epub, there might be programming there that will help with split identification. I don't know these things for sure, I am no Blossom Calibre Queen (
) but that has worked for me in the past.
