Have you tried a factory reset using the buttons? Put it on to charge for a couple of hours and try the instructions in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...05#post2788705. There is a good chance that will fix things.

IF that doesn't do it, which model Touch is it? The N905B and N905C have internal SD cards that can be reimaged and should fix this. I can send you a link to the image if I know which model it is.
