Unfortunately, an 8" paperback is approximately 4" x 7" (I am measuring one: 4 and 1/8 x 6 and 7/8, i.e., 4.125" x 6.875") and i86, judging from the picture, seems more like 5" x 6.25".
Still not what I want. Maybe in China books are different?
With margins cropped it is just enough to show a whole paperback page in portraite mode and for those with good vision, its landscape's 6.4" should just be about enough for A4 sized pdfs (margins cropped and two or three screens per page).
