There wasn't enough to the main story while there were 3 other story arcs. It seemed like each got about 25% of the book. It just seemed to jump around a lot more than usual.
Edit - There were actually 4 other story arcs in The King. Forgot about Wrath's parents.

Funny, the multi POV storyline is what I'm really enjoying about the later BDB books! Different strokes, I guess
I'm reading the Highlander series now by Karen Marie Moning. I'm liking them as much as I liked the Fever series. Maybe even more.
