I've read them both now, and they were OK, but with such a big TBR list I should have just got the freebie.
However, I have managed to resist any other purchases so far this month.
I anticipate buying one book from Baen's May monthly bundle from Kobo with a coupon, but I don't know if that'll be this month or next month (it rather depends on whether Kobo get the books at the same time as they're released at Baen's ebooks site, i.e. around the 16th April, or whether they have to wait for the paper release, around 1st May.
But I'm not doing too badly this April. Five books bought but seven books read (so far). And I did very well in February with just two books bought and 16 books read.
It's January and March where I fell down. 142 books bought and 45 books read.
But now that Baen's ebooks are available and discountable at Kobo, I may be buying fewer bundles. I still have hopes that I'll get to the end of 2014 having spent under $480 on ebooks.
