It doesn't make a lot of sense that they take away something that was possible prior to the merge.

The only reason I used kobobooks was that they had titles not available on Sony AND could be directly downloaded. Now my T1 is crippled for the next month or two.

Finally, I apologize for not keeping up with the news about this merge.
